Outliers

I recently read this book 'Outliers' by Malcom Gladwell. Very nice book. The moral of the story is that

- Success comes through hardwork and some luck

- There is nothing as success coming because somebody is a genius [Behind that genius lies lot of hard work]

- To become good at anything you should work on it for at least 10000 hours

Where is the winning colour?

I was in Durban recently and met a lot of local Indian friends who have settled here since decades. Its an Irony, but they say that the situation has not changed much after SA got freedom from Apartheid. They say that 'they were not white enough during Apartheid and not black enough now'! Really stuck in between!

India appreciates Dr Manmohan Singh

Congress has emerged stronger after the 2009 elections. I think people have appreciated Dr Manmohan and his work. I only hope that India will emerge stronger after 5 years and it looks very much probable with the likes of Sashi Taroor entering the arena.
