Probably you should read 'The selfish gene' by Richard Dawkins. It woke me up.

Mothers and fathers love their children because they carry precisely half of their genes. They want to propagate them further or the genes make them act in way which is the best way to save themselves i.e. take care of the children.

Its measured my something called relatedness. In this case it is half, where as your relatedness to your grandfather is 1/4.
It is nice to talk in terms of love and such stuff but if you dig further you will find genes pulling the strings :)

Not a nice thought. yeah?!!sreedhar gundappahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00912902767837191910noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3046507933278647664.post-84435598623806995152007-06-12T12:22:00.000-07:002007-06-12T12:22:00.000-07:00ok...you make sense....your questions are correct....ok...you make sense....your questions are correct....but you don't quite seem to accept their answers!

Well...this is my P.O.V.
The mother starts feeling the love for her child since the very first cell comes into existence....she can feel it..that is love...
it's not a trade of some sort...
if it were trade then it cannot be one-sided...it is like a coin...it has 2 sides to it!
well...if the child "dis-owns" the mother at any point of time for any particular reason....the mother can never STOP loving her child....see it ain't two sided!
THAT IS UNCONDITIONAL LOVE...
Indeed the world is an AWESOME place to live it...you are Yet to Wake up!
Wake up and get LOVED!!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3046507933278647664.post-36655136557165094322007-06-11T07:18:00.000-07:002007-06-11T07:18:00.000-07:00hmm.... too much of bad literary influence!! and a...hmm.... too much of bad literary influence!! and about marriage - i wish i had absolute freedom to decide what i want in life or start developing utter disregard for everything!!sreedhar gundappahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00912902767837191910noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3046507933278647664.post-75973810049064000392007-06-11T07:04:00.000-07:002007-06-11T07:04:00.000-07:00Maga, the girl sure is intelligent ..but what abou...Maga, the girl sure is intelligent ..but what about the guy ..
